Tell of it—you who ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets, and you who walk by the way. (Amplified)
This is a passage from the judge Deborah who delivered the people from their oppressors. She is telling the people – the leaders and the common people, those who walk, travel along life’s road, – to tell of it. She said to tell of victories, of what God has done. Some translations say, “Sing!” We are to sing His praises, tell the people what God has done – the victories He has given you, the blessings He has brought you. It gives us courage, it encourages others. It reminds us that God has done it before, so He can do it again – bring victory, can bless. So let’s not be quiet, let’s tell, let’s sing!
